How it works

One system, adapted to your business.

The same six stages sit behind every JRP build. Four shape what your customers see. Two sit behind the scenes, so you can see what's happening and improve it.

Present→Build Trust→Qualify→Convert→Measure→Improve↻ and repeat

Present

Clearly communicate the business, its services and its value.

People decide quickly whether you're relevant. This stage makes sure they understand what you do, who it's for and why it's worth their time, in the order they need it.

For example: a garden room business might organise its site around what the room is for (an office, a gym, a salon), because that's how buyers choose.

Questions we ask about your business

  • How do your customers describe what they need?
  • What do they need to see first?
  • What makes your work worth choosing?

Build Trust

Give potential customers confidence.

Most people won't get in touch until they feel confident. Confidence comes from evidence: real work, a clear process and honest answers.

For example: a venue might explain how booking works in a few plain steps, from first request to the day itself.

Questions we ask about your business

  • What proof do you already have?
  • What worries people before they get in touch?
  • What would a first-time customer need to see?

Qualify

Capture useful information and set expectations.

The right questions help both sides. The customer gets a relevant answer. You get enough to respond properly. We ask only what's needed.

For example: an exterior cleaner might ask for a couple of photos up front, so a quote doesn't need a wasted visit.

Questions we ask about your business

  • What do you need to know before you can quote or visit?
  • Which enquiries aren't a fit, and why?
  • What's the least we can ask that's still useful?

Convert

Make the appropriate next step easy.

When someone's ready, the next step should be obvious and easy. It should also be the right step for your business, not a generic form.

For example: one business might want a phone call, another a site visit request, another a WhatsApp message with photos.

Questions we ask about your business

  • How do you prefer to take on a new customer?
  • What happens right after someone gets in touch?
  • What might stop someone getting in touch?

Measure

Understand what is happening.

You can't improve what you can't see. Behind the customer-facing journey, we build a measurement layer and a dashboard around the actions that matter to your business: calls, messages, enquiries, bookings and where they came from.

No made-up figures: where there's no data yet, the dashboard says so.

Questions we ask about your business

  • Where do your best customers come from?
  • Where do people drop out?
  • Which enquiries turn into work?

Improve

Use evidence to improve the system over time.

The first version is a starting point. With real data we can see what's working, change what isn't, and check whether the change helped. Then it feeds back into Present, and the cycle repeats.

This stage needs time and real data. That's why JRP works on an ongoing basis, not as a one-off project.

Questions we ask each time

  • What did we learn since the last review?
  • What's the one change most likely to help?
  • Did the last change make a difference?

Adapted, not forced

The right next step depends on the business.

We don't push every business into the same online booking system. A calendar that doesn't match how you actually work helps no one.

  • PhoneWhen people want to talk it through.
  • WhatsAppQuick questions, photos, an easy first contact.
  • Quote requestWhen the price depends on the job.
  • BookingWhen there's a set service and real availability.
  • ConsultationWhen the decision needs a conversation first.
  • Site visitWhen the job has to be seen to be priced.
  • EnquiryWhen people need to ask before anything else.
  • Project formWhen a bigger job needs a proper brief.

What would these six stages look like for your business?

We'll talk it through using your business as the example.
