About

Why JRP exists.

Plenty of local service businesses are good at what they do, and people are already looking for them. The part that gets less attention is what happens after someone finds them.

Having worked in construction, and through conversations with friends running service-based businesses, I kept seeing the same thing. The demand was there, but getting the right customers through the door wasn't always straightforward. Good businesses were being found, enquiries were coming in, but somewhere between someone discovering a business and actually becoming a customer, opportunities were being lost.

That stuck with me.

JRP was created to work on that part — helping good local businesses make more of the demand they're already generating, and giving them a better way to turn attention into genuine opportunities and customers.

What we believe

Five things that shape every build.

  1. The attention you already have comes first.

Before chasing more demand, make sure the demand you already have gets a fair chance to turn into business.

  2. A website is part of a system, not the system.

What matters is the whole journey: how people find you, what they see, what they're asked, how easy the next step is, and whether you can see any of it.

  3. Every business has its own right next step.

A venue, a cleaner and a garden room builder shouldn't all get the same booking form. The system stays the same. The journey fits the business.

  4. Evidence beats opinion.

Measure what matters, change one thing, and look at what happened. That's how the system gets better.

  5. Never claim what you can't show.

Show what was built. Show what changed. Show what happened. That's why you won't find borrowed logos or made-up numbers on this site.

How we approach digital

Start from how your customers decide.

Not from a template, and not from a list of channels. We work out how people find you, what they need to see, what they need to ask, and what the right next step is for your business.

Then we build the journey around it, put measurement behind it, and keep managing and improving it once it's live.

How the six stages work

Why it's different

One job, looked at as a whole.

Digital work is often bought in pieces: a website here, some marketing there. Each piece can be done well on its own.

We look at one thing: the journey between being found and becoming a customer. Then we build and run everything that affects it, as one system, including the visibility to see what's happening inside it.

That doesn't make us a web design company, an SEO company or a lead-generation company. The job is to help you capture more value from the demand you're already receiving.
